What it is

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the active region of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid actin-binding protein present in most mammalian cells. Thymosin Beta-4 belongs to the beta-thymosin family, first characterized for its role in sequestering monomeric G-actin and regulating actin polymerization dynamics.
